I hope what you are saying is true.
He didn't look bad in his last big fight against Pacquiao. He just didn't want to exchange with him, when Marco opened up on Pac (which was very rarely), he looked solid.

In his most recent outing against Sammy Ventura (a tin can), Barrera looked better than I anticipated. I knew he would win, and I knew there was no way Ventura was going to have a chance, but the way Marco fought impressed me.

He took Ventura serious enough to get himself in pretty good shape, and he carried Ventura just long enough to get some work in, and showcase what's left of his skills. When he was done with that, he took him out.

Marco is going down in history as the slayer of British ****** boxers.

I feel better now. Thanks. I didn't see the Ventura fight. Might seek it out though.

I think Khan is in competition with Nasim,he wants to appear like he did what Nasim didnt do,beat Barrera. This is not the same Barrera, this is a 100yr old Barrera. If Khan wants to prove he's good he should fight Marquez or Katsidis.

Khan has no excuse whatsover. He turned pro more than 4yrs ago. He's not a newby

If the discussion is about Pacman, Barrera is a washed-up, past-his-prime fighter, but when you talk about Amir Khan, you paint Barrera as if he's still the Barrera that whooped Hamed's ass. Friggin' double standard

Joe knows MAB will beat the fraud known as Amir Khan, MAB is one of Joe's Fav fighter. Amir Khan will be exposed just like how Naz got exposed by MAB.
MAB might not get the credit for that JMM fight but i believe he beat him, and stilll has gas in the tank..

The Barrera that Pacquiao dismantled in their first fight was the real deal. All credit to Pacquiao for taking him out when he seemed unstoppable.

The Barrera that fought Pac in the rematch wasn't shot either, however he was removed a bit from his prime. I think he could've been a lot more competitive with Pac if he just opened up more with him in that fight, but it was obvious that he didn't want anything more than the money.

As is, Barrera is a past prime fighter. Shot? Certainly not. But past prime? Absolutely.

If you read "No Ordinary Joe" Joe says there aint that many current fighters he likes watching, MAB and PAC are the stand outs. He has mentioned MAB as a Fav a few times bro..
