This was a Don King promoted card in 2003

    Bernard Hopkins vs William Joppy
    WBC middleweight title
    WBA middleweight title
    IBF middleweight title

    John Ruiz vs Hasim Rahman
    interim WBA heavyweight title

    Ricardo Mayorga vs Cory Spinks
    WBC welterweight title
    WBA welterweight title
    IBF welterweight title

    Zab Judah vs Jaime Rangel
    WBO light welterweight title

Wayne Braithwaite vs Luis Alberto Perez
    WBC cruiserweight title

    Rosendo Alvarez vs Victor Burgos
    WBA light flyweight title
    IBF light flyweight title

Felix Machado vs Luis Alberto Perez
    IBF super flyweight title

Remember this was one card. I am not sure how many HBO PPV showed, i remember seeing 4 of these fights. They did not live up to expectation but the point is that there were a lot of interesting fights on this card. Has the money from then until now changed that much?

Thats Don King for you. He didn't always care about his fighters, but he ALWAYS cared about the show!

Don King always stacks his cards.

Honestly other than the hardware at stake that card isnt that great.

Despite everybody whinin about boxing dyin, it's a big $ business and promoters don't care enuf about anything but overpriced PPV's to give fans good cards all the time.
