To be fair, I think the demand for 60/40 is just for more money not to fight Mayweather instead. I don't know whether he is going to fight Mayweather or whether Mayweather is coming out of retirement or not... I need proof before I start thinking it will happen. Either way, the better idea for Pacquiao and Hatton would be to fight each other then the winner of that fight possibly fighting Floyd (possibly).

pac is doing this to get more money! Are people seriously suggesting the reason he is not going to take this fight is on the basis that he just MIGHT be able to get a fight with floyd mayweather, give me a break. Mayweather is retired, get over it! And just for the record, open your eyes people, do you really think pacquiao would beat mayweather??? There is a massive difference between beating a 40% de la hoya and the greatest boxer of his generation. Pacs ability to fight at welterweight is still unproven i believe.

You just said to be objective? You forgot to mention that Goliath was extremely weight drained and not anywhere close to his formal self buddy.

Only speculation but, if paquiao does get this fight with mayweather then we will know why he priced himself out of the hatton fight...like i said before pacquiao isn,t thinking about the money he,s thinking about immortalizing his career in boxing and he,s probably thinking if he don,t fight floyd now then he probably won,t because floyd will retire again, oh i mean run away from any threat...floyd already fought hatton and won regardless to joe cortez so i think pacman would be the logical choice...right now i think floyd would lose to either guy and we know he k.o. Hatton but i think hatton wouldn,t get out of his game plan and we all know how much of a buzzsaw manny is so either way, because you can best believe that after this fight floyd invincibility will no longer exist...

nah, pac wants money now he already got the accomplishments. its hatton that needs accomplishments, but he has to be willing to pay for it with $$$.

Any thoughts???
I dn't think so. Arum wouldn't be making the quotes he is now. No one has to look bad in a situation like this, least of all the fighter. The fact that Manny Pacquiao is being left out to dry makes me believe that Arum is genuinely hurt or mad or both.

A fight with Mayweather may very well happen... but, Hatton wasn't turned down for Mayweather.
