I am a Brit, and proud... but posting these kind of threads are what start the arguments in the first place, so it is kinda pointless writing what you just have.

Calzaghe is a great fighter, with great skills... but don't get too excited about the win over Jones, Jr. because I am being totally honest, realistic, and un-biased here and if the fight happened 6-7 years ago it could and probably would of gone the other way. But I am not doubting Calzaghe's abilities or achievement I think he deserves what he has achieved and I am a big fan of him... I rooted for him against Jones and Hopkins and I am glad he won both of them.

Whether this is a bait thread or not... I thought I would respond normally lol.

I applaud Joe and his success for British boxing and world boxing for that matter. The only problem I have is with some fans claiming Roy ducked Joe when Calzaghe barley did anything to capture a fight with him in his prime.
