Real Reason Why PAC Wants More Than 50%

Remember, Pacquiao had many people wanting to fight him after the DLH win. Hatton also wants this fight more too as he's been chasing that elusive p4p target for a while now.
Pacman is the bigger crowd puller, he has the bigger USA fan base not to mention the Phillipenes as well as alot of Far Eastern Asian following him too. Aside from Hatton's massive UK following, what else does he bring? Pockets of American fanbases? That pales in significance compared to Pacquiao's cult following.
If they can't settle on 50-50, it should be 55-45 to Pacquio. Hatton really has no other options, who eles is there to fight for him? Mayweather again? Not big enough. Oscar? Forget about it. Who else is there that can give him a mega money fight?

If you check my figures below, Mayweather clearly received more than Hatton. This was the deal on the purse split between Mayweather and Hatton.
1. Mayweather received $11 million in guaranteed money while Hatton received $6 million.
2. Hatton receives all the 1.25 million sale in U.K. pay per view at 20 euros a pop or $30 U.S.
So that's about $37.5 million U.S. dollars.
3. Mayweather receives all the U.S. pay per view revenue. According to Mark Taffet, U.S. ppv generated $47 million. http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing ... id=3158134
Let's calculate, I don't know what the cable company split, promoter split, etc....on ppv sales.... so let's just add the total ppv revenues with the guaranteed money for both fighters.
Mayweather: 11 million + 47 million = $58 million
Hatton: 6 million + 37.5 million = $43.5 million
Clearly, Mayweather made more than Hatton. So how is 50/50 fair with this current pound 4 pound if it wasn't fair during the Mayweather fight.

Nay, Hatton might be the champion on paper but he's the challenger to the throne.

on principle it seems pac just wants the higher purse so hatton should just give pac 51/49 and get the fight going.Comment

To say that Hatton has no options is ******. Hatton has the same options as Manny. People are saying Manny can fight Cotto and Margarito, but so can Hatton. Manny beat an old and washed up Oscar. Remember that. It was a good win, but Lazcano had more fight than Oscar that night. Hatton would have also destroyed Oscar that night. Pacquaio and Hatton need each other. This is the only fight that makes sense at the moment. Cotto, and Margarito would destroy Manny, and they would Hatton too.
Anybody who thinks this fight should be other than 50-50, can go back to school.Comment

It was at Floyd weight for Floyds title while he was P4P #1... that is why he got more, plus they made Floyd come out of retirement to fight him. Pacquiao is fighting at Hattons undefeated weight for Hattons title when Pac is P4P #1... both are massive draws in there respected countries and both are big draws in America... that is why 50/50 is fair to me... maybe not other people.
If it was at Pacquiaos weight for his title... while Pac was P4P#1 then I would think 60/40 would be completely fair. Just my opinion anyway.Comment

I didnt know Floyd got all the US PPV revenue...
The best solution is for them to fight for the extra 10%... Is there anyway we can get our opinions heard to Golden Boy or Bob Arum?Comment
