no, he is just trying to get his proper due man. 50-50 sounds fair to most but Freddy Roach's point of view is that Manny just beat the **** out of a guy whom Floyd barely beat and Floyd knocked out Hatton, Oscar was Manny's big test and Floyd was Ricky's and 1 won while the other lost, add that to the fact that Manny is number 1 pound for pound and a champion in his own right and Freddy may just have a point.. on the flip side Ricky Hatton feels like hey I'm defending my title at my weight, I bring fans too, I'm also a top rated fighter so why should I take less? I feel him on that too.. honestly it boils down to who has looked better to me, I think Manny has looked better in his last few fights than Ricky and he has continuously stepped up, he's in a place where he needs to set standards, he is trying to become the money man and I can't say I blame him. Hatton's only stance is he is a champion defending his belt whom also brings fans, correct? Manny just defeated Oscar De La Hoya via submission, a MUCH bigger name than Juan Lazcano and Paulie Malignaggi fused together and he made it look effortless, truth is he is #1 pound for pound and he is a champion too, he's tried and true because he has faced all of his challenges and continues to seek more unlike the #1 pound for pound fighter prior to him did and overall he just has more to his credit in terms of opposition, stature and place in Boxing. in other words he's ranked higher, has had the better recent fights, brings A LOT of fans and is also a champion. I'm not saying I agree with neither side but Pacquiao has the stronger argument IMO, I personally thought they should just do 50-50 but after hearing the arguments I think Manny's is stonger because it's about WHO you beat and Manny beat the best, he left no questions and is the best fighter in the world, he may get the edge in money especially if it's 55-45, that's fair because Manny is ranked well ahead of Ricky, his buzz is big right now..
Anyone on here lost any respect for 'Money' Pacquiao?

the tv network pays for it so its not considered free, just so you know. And in return they get huge tv ratings. so if your saying the Philippines isn't bringing any money to the table then you're terribly wrong.Comment

For those that think Pac "deserves" more than Hatton because he beat DLH need to wake up. Ricky just might fight DLH in front of 80,000 fans live in the UK plus PPV and probably make more then he would fighting Pac.
If Pac doesn't wise up soon he's going to LOSE his biggest payday that he'll ever get. Getting paid has nothing to do with talent! If it did the Pac would've made more then DLH when they fought. Boxing paydays are about who can DRAW the money and in this case it's clearly Hatton. Ricky is the Champion, willing to fight out of his country, the bigger financial draw and he's still willing to split the pot evenly. Manny is being so greedy and ****** right now that it will be the biggest financial blunder a fighter ever made. WTF is he thinking?Comment
