Hatton needs pac more than pac needs hatton and everyone needs to realise this. Pac is the attraction.
Hatton - Malignaggi doing 200,000 PPV's in the UK is very credible considering Malignaggi is a nobody.

Thanks for leaving out the fact that 10,000 Hatton fans went out to Vegas in December to see Hatton fight a nobody.

Greedy? Is that the same guy who gave extra $200,000 on the guy he just beat? Cause he felt bad for the dude. I never heard someone doing that **** in boxing.

How are people justifying the fact that he's even greedy? Just because he's not accepting a 50/50 split? Pacquiao donates his well earned money to the impoverished people in the Philippines. I guess people who watched the Dela Hoya 24/7 easily forgot how Pacquiao donated a truck load of Turkey in LA for Thanksgiving. Either you watched it and forgot or you didnt watch it. So the last thing Pacquiao is... is greedy. Hatton doesn't even come near top 5 of best p4p. The reason I only hear is that he brings in most of his british fans. True, yet it also depends on who he fights. So he needs Pac to help bring in his own supporters. According to Marc Jonathan E. de Jesus of Philboxing.com, its simply out of respect. He says "Do you think Cavs owner Dan Gilbert would pay Lebron James (the best player in the NBA) the same exact salary as Yao Ming (the 6th best player in the NBA), just because he brings the China market with him?? " I don't think so! So please... if you have any better reason to why Pacquiao should accept the 50/50 aside from just wanting to see the fight and Hatton brings in his so called thousands of supporters, don't say anything because your'e disrespecting someone who's on top. Pacquiao paid his dues... its time for Boxing to pay him back. I personally don't care if this fight doesn't pull through because its about respect and pride. I would not want to see Pacquiao getting punked by suits off the ring as well as in the ring.

Also, do anyone have credible sources for Hatton's numbers? Please post

No i wont lose respect for him he has proved over and over he is one of the best fighters in boxing history. but i will start to think he's an idiot haha for missing out on a easy huge payday in this situation! Pacman would easily beat Hatton IMO and the fact that he would risk losing the opportunity over this dumb split purse crap confuses the hell out of me...

you wont see his point, coz he doesnt have a point.

50/50? no way! 60-40 for the winner?? that's even funnier LMAO!! that's just disrespectful. that's right! pac earned it, he paid his dues. stand firm on your 60/40 term manny!! i know you will. they'll lose alot money too if they back out lol.

60-40 in Manny's favor is just fair

I think him driving a hard bargain in negotiations for the Hatton fight is indicative of the fact that he's well aware he's the smaller man in this fight who's risking alot by attempting to claim another world championship in his 6th weight class. Some people forget he's been champ at 112, 122, 126 (Ring Belt against MAB), 130 and at 135. He's moved up an awful lot and a fight at 140 against such a strong, physical Hatton at that weight is a great risk and I'm sure he wants the financial side of things to take that into account. Hopefully the fight gets made though...

no. I am a MAB and EM fan so I try very hard to dislike Pac, but so far no. He is just holding his ground.
