I said the same thing when PW fought Quintana instead of MArgo..instead we got PW-Quintana 1&2.

I see it like this, Shane haves the speed and movement to outbox Margarito I dont think he haves the power to knock Marg and if he lands the best on Marg and dont do nothing, is going to be in his head and his going to pay the price like Cotto. Cotto tried to do what Williams did and didnt work because of Cottos hight and reach. Margarito is a toe to toe guy witn a good chin and power and the only way Mosley is going to win is to know he wont posses the power but he haves the style and speed to come out a winner, other than that Margarito wins by tko.

margrarito williams 2 not taking place? well, williams should have accepted the immediate rematch after he beat tony, instead of fighting quintana, but now that there is more money,he wants it,well now he waits,i really believe they will fight again anyways, will have to see how cotto looks in next fight,if he gets hit a lot, even though he wins,i doubt he will fight tony,

1st of all shane's punches are weaker than cottos, and we all saw what cotto's punches did to margo NOTHING!!! mosley better be ready for 12 rounds of pure savage boxing Pressure..Margos punches are like the AK's and R15's that keep dropping fools in TIJUANA!!!

I think SSM will get stopped on his feet late in the fight, due more to fatigue than actually bein hurt.
shane mosley has never had a "fatigue" problem, man.

that's all he has to do, is come prepared to BOX, for a full 12, **** trying to KO margarito. shane has the speed, ability, toughness, AND stamina to outbox margarito over the course of a 12 round fight. you guys are seriously underestimating mosley, much like the hopkins-pavlik fight.

also, legacy and money? you call margarito hungry? after margarito beat cotto, arum clearly said, "it's time for tony to make some MONEY now." you got your fighters confused, if anything mosley gets the props for taking this fight, not margarito. if margarito was HUNGRY, or intent on cementing his LEGACY, he'd be fighting PW, instead of making excuses as to why he's not.

If this were the case he'd be going after a Hatton or Pac.

Shane has ALWAYS been about fighting THE BEST.

Margarito just got done demolishing a former opponent and Shane is willing to step up yet again. Of coarse he wants cash, but it's not all about the money if you're fighting the best that's out there.
He didn't have to take this fight to secure his legacy. He deserves respect.

Shane has better power than Cotto. He just doesn't get off like he used to. Mayorga has been KO'd, but he always ended on his feet. Shane left him stretched. But I would give Margs a slight edge in power over Shane. He is accurate and throws straight punches. When he lands, his opponent usually stops and regroups. Still picking Shane by SD.

I give a lot of credit to Margarito for beating Cotto and he is a great fighter like Tito and Pavlik but I dont understand the people that think that no one can beat Margarito (5 Losses) when Willams show everybody how to beat him. Sugar needs to follow Williams & Bhops stragety on how to beat fighters like Margarito, Bhop did it to Tito and Pavlik and Margarito haves the same style of Tito and Pavlik and I still think thats the only way Sugar wins other wise Margarito by Tko

Definitely agree with you kid. De La Hoya had a chance to fight Margarito and passed it up. Mosley has balls for going up against a beast like Margarito. ******, but he has balls because he knows he's facing a bigger, dangerous and hungry opponent in Margarito. Never liked Sugar Shane because of what he has done to my Mexican brothers- De La Hoya- More personally my favorite fighter of all time "THE FEROCIOUS" Fernando Vargas. But I do give him respect he has never shyed away from the best opposition.
