Klitschko Dilemma Hovers over The Heavyweight Division

No matter what the situation is,we need one heavyweight champ.Rid**** Bowe should have thrown all of the ABC belts in the garbage.Then,it would have went back to the old theory of"the man, who beat the man, who beat the man"is the undisputed champ.That "one" person can say,he can "whup any son of a ***** around"Or, he can claim that he is "the baddest man on the planet".Or,he can argue that he is "the greatest of all time".That's what keeps boxing interesting.There's nothing like a universal champion putting his title up against the well deserved number one contender.Two big men in one ring with two big egoes.Its what drives the whole sport of boxing.The little guys have been holding it down for years,but the perspective is that the sport is still dying.But when there's one recognized heavyweight champion,isn't the sport alive?A few years back,John McCain wanted the government to step into boxing.At the time, I thought it was a bad idea.But now,look at the results.Look at the damage that's been done to the sport because of these multiple champions.Bottom line,if these ABC champions aren't willing to fight each other to unify the belts,then give them up.Who cares if two brothers hold a belt.That's good for them but not the sport.Someone needs to step in and correct this out of control situation.I hope a fighter comes along and beat the hell out of all these paper champs,throw all the belts in the Atlantic,then say,"To be the man you have to beat the man!"

Since the 1720's and James Figg, we can (almost, anyway) spot one, single champion at the time. Except for the few, last years.

Perhaps we shouldn't blame the ABC's that much. They're just using a lucrative market that works well for them.

The thing is, it wouldn't work if a lot more boxing writers/reporters weren't that quick accepting every silly move made by the ABC's, instead of taking a firm, critical stand.

Hes going to beat Haye, defend the title twice and retire, the Wlad will be left alone.

Its not all that bad........its not like if there was no Vitaliy now and Wlad held all the belts that things would be much better. They wouldnt.


There is no new talent now....Wlad alone in the division would be him knocking nobodies out for the next 2 years. Maybe in those two years someone better will come.

What Im trying to say is that the division is still ****y, and looking to the future it will be for another couple of years......So why not have another good fighter in Vitaliy during this time so we can see some good fights?
