    Khans opponents under rated

    1) scott lawton, considered now England no 1 (look on boxrec) has won every fight, some by tko after facing khan

    2) Willie limond, some people say hes a blown up superfeather but in reality hes fought as high as 11'4 (not sure what weight class but thats alot higher than light weight) and fought in welter weight fights before khan

    3) Graham Earl, Just had a war with katsidis, who looked like he was going to rule the lightweight division (this is before JCC, Pac-man entered and juan diaz looked champ) who knocked katsidis down twice. Also considered england no 1 at this point

    4) Breidis Prescott An unbeaten barely known fighter with nearlly all his fights ending in K.O. How can that NOT be risky? He may have had poor opposition but you can only beat whos infront of you

    5) (if this rumour is true) Marco antonio barrera An ex-world beater with lots of experience, a good chin (only lost by k.o once by manny-pac) and power to his name. And before you complain that hes blown up, he had a huge frame for his weight, for all we know he may be more powerful at lightweight.

I know none of these guys are current champions/world beaters but Khan is only going into his 20th fight, and hes only a young age.

Heck by 20 fights manny only started fighting guys with more wins than losses on their records, and even had a loss on his record, and look where he is now!

Depends which way you look at it.

Khan's oposition has probably been what it should of been looking at it on paper, but its like putting Al Seeger in there with Gamboa when Gamboa has had over 400 amateurs fights.

Infact its carfull matchmaking that might have got Khan chinned so badly, because he had a false sense of where he was at, because of how easy he was blowing his oposition away. Khan thought he could take on the top guys in the div when in reality he couldn't get past a complete nobody from Columbia.

BTW Khan was protected from punchers too.

I agree hes protected from punchers, although barrera and prescott are quite big punchers, mosty of his opponents had low KO ratios. But theyre still credible opposition

I don't remember Kats going down twice in that fight.

I remember a standing 8 count after Kats got rocked and went all bendy from that solid Earl right hand.

Awesome things I've learned in the last two days of the forum:

Bernard Hopkins is overrated and not that good.

Khan is underrated and will be the next Manny Pac.

            Gotta love this place.
