am santos- margarito was a legit scoring. it could have gone either way.

Dude I've seen worse cuts on boxers and **** wasn't stopped. Yes I believe Cazares won the first fight, but he got schooled in the 2nd.

If that fight(margaritovssantos) would of been outside a biased place, they would of let it continue and Margarito would of won.

the fight should be held in a neutral ground. and that's definitely not puerto rico.

but whether it's in vegas or puerto rico, gerry will teach juanma some boxing lessons his mentors failed to impart to him in his young boxing career.

i should say this is juanma's real baptism in fire. the aging penalosa would be juanma's first debacle.

Anyways Juanma will KO him wherever the fight is made!!!!
Lopez has some things going for him in this fight, sure. He is a huge 122 pounder, Penalosa is really a BW. He is a young, fresh fighter, while Penalosa is 36 years old, has 6 losses in about 60 fights and we all know smaller guys age faster. On top of that Lopez is a big puncher.
However, in over 60 fights Penalosa has NEVER been stopped, and they dont give him the nickname "Fearless" for no reason. He also has the edge in competition, and Lopez has never been truly tested.
Great fight, good test for Lopez, but I dont see an easy fight to predict.

Cazarez lost both fights, as did Margarito. You must also think that odlh beat Sweet Pea, and Felix Strum and was ahead against PAC-MAN when his corner stopped the fight. Your from houston? It's understandable!!!!

we have to give mad respect to penalosa for giving up his title and fighting one of the most dangerouse fighters right now, in his own backyard, thats a warrior.

Lopez wins this one, I doubt if Gerry has the firepower to stop Lopez (though his chin hasn't been tested) and I don't think Penalosa throws enough punches to win by points. I doubt if Lopez can knock-out Penalosa though, Gerry's got solid defense. If there one Filipino that could give Juanma a serious challenge it would be Bernabe Concepcion.

Juanma's got this, he will shock Penalosa just like he did Ponce de Leon.
