Juanma Lopez Plans To Send Gerry Penalosa Packing

WBO super bantamweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez (24-0, 22KOs) was happy to hear that Filipino rival Gerry Penalosa (53-6-3, 36 KOs) was willing to move up in weight for an April 4 bout in Puerto Rico. Penalosa would give up his WBO bantamweight title to make the fight. The fight is slated to land on HBO. [details]

This fight should be in MSG or in the MGM grand. This is a big fight, that will give Juanma a lot of exposure, so he needs to be smart about it and he should fight in the US, to build up his fan base!!!!

Anyways Juanma will KO him wherever the fight is made!!!!

This is probably Penalosa's last opportunity so that means one of two things. 1. Either he goes out with a fight to hopefully gain future fights or
      2. just come out for a check which I hope he doesnt do #2. Im not really fond of this fight being in Puerto Rico though being that Juanma is the upcoming star from PR and possible bias judging. Another clash of the Veteran vs. The up and coming star. Would of liked Juanma vs. Vazquez instead though.

Im tire of the PR bias Judging Bull ****. Give me one fight that you have heard was a robbery in PR. And dont say Margarito-Santos because it was a legit scoring.

I wasnt saying their was, I was saying that their could be a possibility. I would say that if any fighter goes over to the stars home turf. If Penalosa was fighting Lopez in the Philippines I would say that or if Lopez fights Vazquez in Mexico or vice versa. Im just one that feels more comfortable with fighters fighting on neutral ground, my opinion. Take the Bute-Andrade in Canada or Chavez-Vanda 1 in Mexico.

Margarito and Santos in PR was definitely not fair scoring. Margarito won just about every round. Pure BS!!!!
