Nice of you to bring race into it.

hatton has fought as many skinny brown folk as white, i don't think he really gives a **** where they come from so long as they ain't called Witter.

Did you think the one he gave 60/40 to, deserved that share more than Pacquiao?

                Schaefer is a boob...

I don't see how he thinks Hatton brings more money than Manny based on the number of quallity victories the Pacman has over the "hitman" (loosely used cause there will only be one 'real' Hitman in boxing). Given Ricky has a decent fan base, but you can't argue against the number of fans Manny has won over with his exciting style. I can't count the number of boring "punch and grab" fights over lesser opposition Hatton has been involved in. I've never seen a boring Pacquiao fight! From a pure excitement standpoint, Manny brings more money and more boxing purists than any other fighter in the world today! Rich needs to get over that butt-kicking Manny gave his boss!

You're so wrong it's not even funny. Hatton might be the inferior fighter. He might even be the less liked fighter... but he brings in mad PPV buys and anything less than 50/50 for him would've been a ripoff. This isn't even debatable.

Of course it's debatable. You must be basing those PPV numbers off the Hatton-Mayweather fight since that is Hatton's only significant PPV outing. Since you don't understand economics or boxing I'll explain both to you. A rough economy and a incorrectly perceived "on paper" weight mis-match led to less interest and subsequently fewer PPV buys between DLH and Pacquiao than the Hatton-Mayweather fight generated. Through his lopsided victory over DLH, Manny has earned the right to demand a larger cut over any fighter he faces (even the over-rated Ricky Hatton) and I believe he deserves it.

Manny's had countless more fights on PPV and always does so in exciting fashion... but it just isn't enough. He can demand all he wants, but as long as a big portion of the bargaining is about who brings in the $$$ that puts Pac on short end of the stick against Hatton.
