Wait a minute guys, the thread question is too general.

Some of you have already responded with various answers, from Kellerman to Steward, but, y'all have to keep in mind each broadcast team has a different responsibility, you have your play by play guy, you have your color commentator and you have your expert analyst.

To me, color commentator and the play by play guy are almost the same thing. Anyway, I guess for HB* the role of the play by play would be Lampley, the color commentator would be Merchant or Kellerman and the expert analyst would be Steward or Lewis.

So, it's hard to compare Lennox to Lampley, it would make more sense to compare Lennox with Steward, get it.

To answer the question, I like liked the younger Merchant, these days, I don't think he's aware he's on the job.

As far as expert analyst, I like Bernstein over Atlas

Lampley is my favorite lead commentator. There's certain things about him that I don't like but for the most part he is a professional and brings a certain excitement to fights. Atlas is my favorite color commentator. He may talk too much but he's stand up guy who provides a lot of knowledge and you can feel his passion about the sport.

I'd have to go with Kellerman. He can really get his point across. Although sometimes I think he exposes himself with the whole nuthugging comments..but for the most part justifiable seeing how he is a commentator.

Favorites are Jim Lampley and Joe Tessitore. Best guest analyst was George Foreman.

I'd say Teddy Atlas or Larry Merchant are my least favorite.... the analogies are just dumb. With the "Control the real estate" mess.
