I'm surprised that anybody wants to call out Kessler while he is having a fallout with his management. Props to Johnson for doing it, but a lot of stones inside team Kessler has to be removed before anything can happen. Cudos also for suggesting a catchweight of 170.

Anyway the fight seems quite logical since neither Johnson nor Kessler seems to be able to find an opponent.

I agree with you there, this is a low risk game for Kessler (compared to the other names he has been calling out) and good US exposure.
Should he loose he would still have his WBA belt.

Main obstacles are are Kesslers dispute with his promoter and off course how to divide the $$

It seems Kessler has the choice - go for this one in the US or face Mads Larsen in Copenhagen.

I would love to see both.

In the papers today the palle's (management) were yapping about not being able to reach Kessler since he's on vacation in Thailand. They are instructed to only talk to his lawyer.

Whoever Palle picks for him will be an easy mark, he should fight 3 "Palle Quality" opponents in 3 months time and be done with it.
