Hmm, Manny makes a move to avoid a punch shows fear? I usually call that good boxing defense, but whatever...

And this is great news, both guys are going to make tons of money and I'm thinking Pacquiao will win this fight, but it will be tough and I won't be surprised or pissed if it goes the other way.

Both of these guys are class acts who deserve a good payday and will fight a very exciting fight, no doubt.

The media blitz began when Pacquaio's attorney Franklin Gacal told reporters that his fighter would not accept a 50-50 split and wanted a deal with terms for a 60-40 cut. Not long after those words reached the media, Hatton's attorney, Gareth Williams, threatened to sue Pacquiao for backing away from the deal that was verbally agreed upon. [details]

Looked it up, it hasn't been updated since Manny was unhappy, which I guess was yesterday but the news is much more up to date here, I'll stick to boxingscene for boxing news. I just found it odd.

They fixed it, Hatton is sharing his cut of the british money... Thats nice, i guess that does mean both fighters want to make the fight. I hope Pacquiao wins though, I don't really care for Hatton at all.

I thought the reason for the 60-40 Pac wanted was moreso people talking bs in his ear to get it. While Manny is big, so is Hatton with his fanbase. I think this fight deserves 50-50. But now if Floyd came back because he went broke and needs a fight, I'd say give him 40 and Manny the 60 because now it's Floyd who needs him and the money. Floyd doesn't bring any people unlike Hatton. I also knew the fight would go down. Manny needs the 2 biggest fights he can possibly get this year before retiring and with this first half complete, only Floyd coming back would finish things off. He's cementing his legacy right now, money is 2nd for him.

dont know where the ppv is coming from there is something i cant weigh up
ricky hatton is not tied to any network but does deal with sky (barring the castillo fight) but bob arum is signed exclusively to setanta which is a subscription channel and not a ppv channel
