    Dirrell-Oganov Stoppage

I'm curious what the big deal with this stoppage was.

Dirrell had been landing about a zillion shots at will throughout the entire fight, and then, seconds before the fight was stopped, Oganov's legs buckled.

In a fight that one guy is just completely dominating, and in a violent fashion (not a jab clinic or potshot and move outboxing performance), when one guy shows his first signs of trouble, what is the big deal in stopping it?

I saw you commented in my thead.

Then I got a smile on my face as the words "Calzaghe-Manfedo" went through my head.

How can something so predictable be so funny? No one knows.

I see no big deal about it, he was getting dominated and he was stunned before the stoppage so the stoppage was OK to me, I've seen way worse.

the stoppage was bizzare, oganov was nowhere near hurt enough to justify the fight being stopped
