    Close fight, good fight.

The knockdown made the difference IMO.

I didn't think it was quite as close as the scores were. Dzindziruk was the clear winner in my opinion. It wasn't one sided or anything, but Santos never came close to winning + he hit the deck.

          Can anyone fill me in?
The fight is in our videos section, if anyone wants to see it.

Dzinziruk clearly won, but it was a competitive fight.

Dzinziruk timed him real well with a counter right hook too in the 8th. Good fight to me. Could've been scored wider too.
Just watched this fight last night. Damn what a jab. Dzinziruk basically beat him one handed, snapping his head back all night with the jab, with the occasional right hook thrown in. I counted like 12 in a row at one point, deadly accuracy. I did think Sergiy had his left broken for a while though, waiting for him to throw it, but when he did it was quick and crisp.

I haven't seen his fight with Julio yet, but from what I've seen, people are making a mistake lumping this guy in with people like Erdei. He definitely has talent. I'd like to see him fight Williams, see how Paul deals with that jab in his face all night.

And yeah, it was a competitive fight, but the scores seemed a bit close.

Yeah, beautiful jab, Santos could do anything about it, it just went through his guard every time.

Dzinziruk is the best 154 pounder IMO and I think he's better than Erdei. I would really like to see him fight Williams as well, that's a very interesting styles matchup.

All I'd seen was a couple of choppy vids on youtube and couldn't really tell much. Going to watch the Julio fight later on. Anyway, I can understand the hate for some Euro fighters that never fight any known fighters, and when they do, they get some hometown judging and/or reffing. Guess I was shocked in this fight in that the scores seemed a bit close. And this guy doesn't seem to be afraid to fight guys like Santos or Julio, or even Williams.

Dzinziruk looks very good at blocking punches and his chin looks strong when something does get through. Ducks down when he needs to, though I'd like to see a bit more lateral movement. Awesome jab and good handspeed with both hands, though he needs to throw the left more. I guess he finds it easier to defend from the guard throwing the jab and hook.

And yeah, I'd love to see him fight Williams. Paul's punch output dropped in the first Quintana fight when he was getting hit with counters. Paul doesn't fight tall, so the 6ft Dzinsiruk shouldn't be at too much of a dis there. Paul throws a lot of punches, but isn't usually that accurate, be interesting to see what he can get past D's guard.

I agree, he's a good fighter and not really afraid of fighting the best, I was also surprised when I heard the scores, I expected wider, especially when the fight took place in his backyard but it turned out to be much closer than I expected.

He's technically really solid, good defense, very good jab, good footwork, good timing, decent power, good footwork, there's not too many glaring flaws there.

Indeed, Williams won't have that big of a height advantage over Dzinziruk and Dzinziruk's jab and counterpunching could give Williams a lot of trouble, it's a very interesting fight.
