Beating Hatton would mean he could then command 60% against other fighters.

Well he'd get more than 60-40 to fight most people. He's not going to get 60-40 for Hatton or Mayweather, but he'd get more than 60-40 for just about any other fight he'd possibly fight in. The problem for him is that even 80 or 90% of the pot against Marquez is MUCH LESS than 50% of the pot against either Hatton or Mayweather.

So, he can fight for a higher percentage all he wants. He really should just go with the big money for the two fights people really want to see him in. He can always fight Marquez or Valero for good money.
