Calzaghe is retiring so he's wrong about that one, and Kessler would prefer a fight in the US. But he's right about Pascal being a good fighter.

Because Taylor turned down a title fight with Froch last year, and now he's refusing again despite being the mandatory - it's very clear Taylor is ducking Froch.

Taylor or his team are not refusing anything.... Where are you getting this information from?

A little reading comprehension on your part would save me a lot of wasted time explaining to you that nobody has refused anything. DiBella and Hennessey are currently trying to work out a deal for the fight before it goes to purse bid on Friday. HBO has said they aren't really interested so it's being shopped to Showtime.

This is the first time I've heard of a mandatory ducking a title shot - but I remember Taylor refused to fight Froch last year for the title so its not a surprise.

          Jermaine is a *****.
You know this how? Taylor has always fought the best, who the fuck has Froch beaten that gives him any justification for Taylor to duck him? Pavlik lost, so I guess you guys need another white fighter to jump on.

The word is that Taylor will be fighting Pascal in March.

Why would he choose an opponent that Froch just defeated, instead of Froch?

Anybody who can't see he's ducking Froch is a moron.

You can't argue with Froch.. everything he says , from his standpoint, rings of truth..The man is avoided like the plague..And if it walks like a duck, Talks like a duck.. Then it's a duck.. and Taylor has been ducking Froch.. Does it make sense?? Not really.. No more than Vitali ducking Rahman, or Mayweather Ducking Margarito.. But Who knows what these guys are thinking.. Still a duck is a duck..

Not once has Taylor or his team said anything that suggests they will not fight.

What gives you the idea that this bout won't happen? It certainly isn't Taylor or his promoter because they would prefer a fight with Froch over Kessler. HBO is the only party that is against this fight.......

That's one reason Froch is desperate to make sure Taylor takes the fight. The other reason is, I imagine, that HBO reportedly isn't interested in the fight, and wants Taylor to fight someone else - which if true is disgusting. What right have they to try to scupper a big fight like this, that would be a potential fight of the year candidate, and would give the winner the most sought after of the alphabet titles? Taylor should fight Froch, Kessler should fight Bute, and then the winners should fight each other. If HBO really wanted the best fights, as they claim they do, that's what they would be pushing for.
