1st thread but i been readin this forum for a while now. What i cant understand is why people seem to think hatton dosnt need pacman and why pacman dosnt need hatton. They both need each other but for different reasons.
Yes its true that hatton can fight anywhere and earn millions but this isnt what he wants, hatton has previously come out and stated that from now on he wants to fight the best and become p4p no.1. The first major step in doing this is to fight pacman and win. Nobody else will do for him. However since theyve already verbally agreed on 50/50 hatton dosnt want to lose his pride and take the smaller cut.
To pacman already being p4p no1, he just wants to earn as much money as possible. Now 50/50 hatton will earn way more money then pacman fighting anybody else. So if hatton is not going to go down to 40% 50/50 is the next most profitable thing for pacman.
This is why this fight will almost definately go ahead at 50/50 to satisfy both the fighters needs.
