Yes we know he isnt the fastest or slickest of fighters, but there is more to Margarito than some ascribe to him. He throws punches from all angles, but most importantly he throws that punch youre not expecting, I saw it over and over against Cotto.
The volume of punches is one thing to deal with, but there is indeed a definite and strategic method to his punches. Not all of his punches are meant to hurt you, he will many times throw a punch thats not hard, but its intent is to get you to move your head so he can land a more devastating punch. The knock on Margarito is that he starts slow and he does at times, this is the case with some pressure fighters who try to figure their opponent out, after all they are there for the duration and are counting on a battle of attrition for victory anyway.
What Paul Williams did should not go unnoticed, he kept a man at bay for the most part by outthrowing him who is known to throw many more than his opponent, that being Margarito. He showed humbleness in following a gameplan which consisted of holding his opponent, I dont see Shane doing this, perhaps not until he is hurt which will be too late, cant wait for this fight.
