Pacquiao's team is getting carried away..they are clearly delusional.
They want 65-35? They are lucky Hatton is willing to accept a 50-50 offer.
Let me get this **** straight:
The reason they want a higher percentage is because of more money, who could possibly offer them more money than a Hatton fight right now?
That 50% would still earn Manny up to 20 million, if he blows it off than its a shame. Hatton is the bigger draw, brings like 20,000 fans across the pond, is the defending/linear champion as well brings a revenue of PPV from both countries.
Hatton earned something like 5 million pounds fighting Malignaggi, thats like 10 million dollars. (PPV, Gate, Guaranteed money + Setanta and others sponsoring him) compared to Pacquaio earning the same as Hatton's fight with Malignaggi fighting three big names in Marquez, Barrera and Morales.
Yes thats right, fighting the big names and still that much!
Hatton can fight a bum in Manchester and get paid 5 times more as Pacquiao facing a bum in Phillipines or USA.
Seriously, apart from Mayweather (who is retired and will be hard in negotiations even if he comes back), I dont think anyone can make Pacquiao as much money as Hatton can (Thats what they want right, hence the 65-35 split they want?)
