You ain't going to treat Hatton like a chump and belive he'll jump for you. **** no, Hatton is the man at 140, and Pac would be lucky if Hatton fights him cause Hatton can stay in Manchester fight any opponet and make millions. Pacquiao needs Hatton, but Hatton don't need Pacquiao.
Ricky Hatton is no fool!Comment

This definitely smells like The Suits are playing their usual tricks to get their client more money. The article reads that Manny will not accept any less then 60\40. I cannot imagine Pac going to his lawyers and managers saying " I want the whole pot or no fight" he has to much respect for other fighters so he wouldn't want to take from a fellow combatant and he knows it would tarnish the sport so he wouldn't want to be viewed as a money chaser. True, he did dismantle a legend, but Ricky still has that large draw and fan-base. IMO the 50\50 split is perfect, neither has beaten a prime fighter recently (although that could be disputed since JMM is a big name for Pac), but Ricky's fight against Paulie was a waste of time, not to mention the lackluster performance against an aged Lazcano didn't' exactly raise belief that he was back to the ol' Ricky. Whoever wins this match and the match against Pretty Boy (provided that happens) will be the one who can then call his own shots and say what he will and will not accept for a purse.Comment

Are you privy to Pacquiao's affairs? We don't even know if Pacman agreed to these terms. Arum might just be assuming that whatever he says, Pacman will agree. The boxer must always have the last say to these things, it's his ass who's always on the line, and we all know boxing could be a matter of life and death sometimes...Comment
