I will be supporting Pac-Man on the night but this 60-40 talk is bull****. Should definitely be 50-50, Pac couldn't make the same money with 95% against anyone else (who isn't retired).

Don't worry, this fight will get made, both fighters are just testing their marketability here...

          Ricky Hatton is no fool!
You're wrong pal, Pacman is already reaping millions fighting others before Hatton. And almost every boxers within or near Pacman's weight division wanted a piece of Pacman! Pacman is the contemporary boxing star more than Hatton! Very obvious who between the two is the biggest draw when the two paired, regardless of Pacman's and Hatton's nuthuggers opinion. Therefore, 60-40 in favor of Pacman is fairly alright!

50-50 is fair, but pac deserves 60-40.

              Didn't Pacquiao do the same?

This definitely smells like The Suits are playing their usual tricks to get their client more money. The article reads that Manny will not accept any less then 60\40. I cannot imagine Pac going to his lawyers and managers saying " I want the whole pot or no fight" he has to much respect for other fighters so he wouldn't want to take from a fellow combatant and he knows it would tarnish the sport so he wouldn't want to be viewed as a money chaser. True, he did dismantle a legend, but Ricky still has that large draw and fan-base. IMO the 50\50 split is perfect, neither has beaten a prime fighter recently (although that could be disputed since JMM is a big name for Pac), but Ricky's fight against Paulie was a waste of time, not to mention the lackluster performance against an aged Lazcano didn't' exactly raise belief that he was back to the ol' Ricky. Whoever wins this match and the match against Pretty Boy (provided that happens) will be the one who can then call his own shots and say what he will and will not accept for a purse.

Hatton will never accept anything less than 50/50, not with his fan base.

I said "as they [Hatton's team] see it" - didn't you read my post????

I'm guessing we'll see a 55/45 split in Pacquiao's once the dust settles.
