Its true though certain people on this forum dont look at both sides of the coin. You are defo one of them. The flip community on a whole is pretty laughable towards Pacquiao, it leaves the brits in there dust with the nuthuggery. Some can be objective though, i have to give some credit.

Ive weighed up EVERYTHING in this fight and im of the opinion that Hatton will win. Im no great Hatton fan dont get me wrong but i cant stand back and watch people say he'll be destroyed off the back of two overrated wins. The Pacquiao hype train has went flying past the station after those fights. Its actually pretty funny.

I too have thought about this fight a lot and I simply do not see at all how ricky hatton can win. You're focusing too much on Pacquiao's past fights where for whatever reason you felt he lost or barely won or whatever. Compare the two fighters, there styles and where they are in their careers and abilities (is fighter A in their primes or has he faded, etc.).

Wrong, i like Pacquiao and never dissed him untill fanboys made an apearance in this thread. What i done can be done to any fighter. I very much enjoy watching Pacquiao fight but what i hate on these forums is the way fanboys get on his nuts now after two overrated wins. Also, im of the opinion he should have fought JMM again instead of moving up. JMM even chassed him up a weight class. There is unfinished business with them and nobody can deny that.

Im seeing to many people getting carried away with Pacquiao after his last two performances. Sure, he looked very good and deserves props for this but lets be realistic, eh?

David Diaz is nowhere near a top level fighter, he's tough and durable with pretty good power but he's not even on the level below elite. Infact, i had a shot Erik Morales beating him.

The Oscar fight......Well, again he done his job but he was in against a dead man. We all know De La Hoyas been a great fighter in the past but that was a promoter Manny was in the ring with. A promotor who was dead at 147 pounds.

Hatton is 3-4 levels up as an opponent from David Diaz and a dead at the weight Oscar. I have to say that if Hatton was in against Diaz and Oscar those nights he'd have stopped both them too, maybe even sooner. Not taking nothing away from Pacquiao here, he done his job.

I remember this fight was spoke of last year while Pacquiao was at 130. If people think back to the polls around that time they were all landslides in favour of a Hatton win. Whats changed? Pacs beat two fighters above 130 where ones looked shot and one wasn't near elite. People have been caught up in hype here that is what has happened.

The big difference between Hatton and Diaz and Oscar is Hatton is more than quick enough to get inside against Pacquiao. Hatton is one of the fastest fighters in the world on his feet and closes the distance very quick. Mannys going to be moving away in this and although he is very quick at moving back and in and out there is no way he's quicker moving back than Hatton is moving forward. He was with Diaz and he was with Oscar.....Great skill never won him those fights like some are saying his legs did, its very evident that was the case.

Not against Diaz and not against Oscar anyway, he won those fights with his legs not his strengh. Hatton is a monster at 140 strengh wise and a former title winner at 147. Hatton is the stronger fighter of the two, no doubt about it.

The way i see the fight going is Manny scoring early on the back foot but getting broke down from head to body while he's doing this. A year ago it looked like Hattons stamina wasn't the same but the change of trainer and training over in the Vegas heat with Floyd Sr looks to have rejuvinated him stamina wise. Although Malignaggi never done much it was still evident that Hatton was in his best shape for years, he looked like he could go another 11 rounds....For that reason im picking Hatton to break Pacquiao down with his all action style and get the stoppage near the 9th round, maybe even Roach will be the one to stop it.

Lets remember the last real fight Pacquiao was in against JMM most feel he lost a close but clear decision. Pacquiao has not become a combination of prime Ali and SRL since then.

This fight is Hattons, ive no doubt about that. Little Pacs faced nothing like this in his career before with the combined speed, power and agression.

The thing is that if pac looked terrible in his last two fights against a weight drained oscar or b-level opponent like diaz then i would be worried. But the fact is he made it look like a walk in the park. So you cant take anything away from those victories. he still looked impressive, better defence more disciplined. i dont understand how hatton fanatics can point to those two fights as a reason why manny will lose.
