Sure, Paquiao's win has elevated him to such a high level and yes, some of it is way out of proportion. But come on be real about Ricky hatton. He's the same guy that nearly got KO'd by Juan Lazcano, got KO'd by Mayweather and nearly lost to Luis Collazo.

Ricky Hatton is a solid fighter, one of the best 140 pounders ever. But he's not the same fighter he once was. Sure he looked good against Malignaggi, but Malignaggi also has looked like **** his last few fights and cant knock out a fly. Ricky Hatton looked so good because Malignaggi fought so damn poorly. Don't overestimate Hatton's win over Paulie.

Pacquiao is too fast for hatton. Ricky is going to be a sitting duck. he's going to eat a whole lot of leather. I think it will be competitive for the first half of the fight, but eventually pacman's speed will prove just too much for hatton.

I got Pac by late TKO or clear decision. And I really have a hard time seeing it any other way.

Have you ever seen Hatton's face after a fight? He eats a ton of leather because he constantly moves forward and lunges with his face first. That's his style. Pacman will be on his toes like you said, constantly moving while hatton will be in front of him and pacquiao will land combo's at will because hatton doesn't have great defense and has little to no head movement, although I'm sure mayweather has helped a TINY bit with that but you really cant teach an old dog new tricks.

He outboxed Collazo and had him holding for dear life in the last round.
His fight with Urango is one of best fight i've seen. ..hatton showed great boxing skills and never clinch in that fight.
