where do people stand on boxers promoting their own fights?
Obviously JC and RJJ did, and ok, the ppv's were not all that great, but as a concept, and with time, i think this could be the way forward. Im in favour.
I still smart at how gerald mclellan was treated by DK. If ever there were a travesty in sport, nevermind boxing, that was it.
To boot, look at the personalities there are in boxing, self promotion is a great idea, and more importantly, for the two guys taking the risk, the most honest.
