Hopkins wasn't even owned by Jones. He lost , but he wasn't owned. And me, and many other feel he won agaisnt Calzaghe, and Jones got ***** slapped for 11 rounds by Calzaghe. Jones couldn't even knock out a fat Trinidad, and hopkins knocked out a Prime Trinidad. Jones never wanted to rematch HOPKINS BECAUSE HOPKINS WOULD HAVE WHOOPED THAT ASS BADD THE NEXT TIME. Actually, Hopkins has been owned... it just wasn't by Calzaghe. It was by the same guy this thread is centered around, Roy Jones Jr.

I wouldn't say that Roy owned Bernard. It was more like Roy bought him, whipped him, make him cook the dinner, and wash the dishes after it was over.

Entire fight can be found on youtube, just not the best quality.

Jones didn't "own" hopkins at all. It was a fairly boring fight with neither fighter landing any true significant punches and didn't really heat up until the end (when hopkins started landing his right hand). Jones won fair and square but he didn't whoop hopkins or anything like that. It was a fairly even fight with Jones landing more of the shots and being the busier and slightly better fighter at that point in time.
