saturday night, i was working a banquet party at my job. it was a all filipino party, a reunion of sorts, anyway, i was talking to an older gentlemen who is the campaign director for one of the guy running for mayor of carson california. the older gentlemen and I started talking about boxing and he lit up real bright and told me that he just ran into floyd mayweather jr down stairs at the sportsbook about an hour before he and i were talking. he said that he went up to floyd and talk to him, he said floyd was really nice and respectful, and the he said that he asked floyd one question about boxing, he said he mentioned one word, " Pacquiao?" he said floyd said smoothly and calmly, " i'm going to kill him......."
now, believe me or not, but this old guy has and had no reason to lie to me, especially when i know floyd comes into the casino often to make bets, because it's close to his house, which is down the street from my friends, and the casino is filled with old people, so he could get in and out with little hassle, but now, the old guy i don't think is lying, there is just no reason to lie and i would think that floyd wouldn't say anything of that nature unless he's really gearing up to come back.
but i'm putting this out there for all to hear because this is the word on the street from out here in vegas, and i was only one person removed from the actual conversation, straight from floyd to the old guy, to me, to you.............
i personally think that mayweather is waiting to see whats up with hatton-pacqiuao. i personally think that if i was pacquiao, i would look to fight floyd first before fighting hatton, mainly because, if he loses to hatton a floyd fight would definitely be off the table. whereas if manny loses to mayweather he could always fight hatton and the fight would still be huge because both if pac were to lose, both fighters have a loss to the same guy making it still evenly matched, unless pacquiao got totally destroyed.........
but yeah, so there is more and more signs and talk of floyds comeback, i know a bunch of yall are excited................ i could careless to be honest if floyd comes back, i will say this though, i would like to see floyd fight some other guys before he really stays retired, but i think a comeback is around the corner.............
