If two fighters are going to get an obscene amount of money, it hardly makes much of a difference if one guy gets 40% or 60% or whatever it may be. It's just an ego thing when fighters ask for more like that. To be honest, I see it as a bit childish.

This is something that really bugs me about a lot of sports stars. They demand this and that when it's the fans who ultimately pay their wages. Pacquiao is a great fighter and obviously deserves his fair share, but if his ego is starting to become too big I wouldn't mind seeing Hatton put on the performance of his life and tear that cheque of Pacquiao's up, fold it neatly, and shove it up Pacquiao's bottom.
