I'm sick and tired of all the Margarito haters, yes his boxing skills are suck, but not all great fighters have superb technical skills. Margarito's style is brawling, and his strengths are power and stamina. That is no reason to call him overrated since he has beaten and knocked out some of the better welterweights.

I don't get this Margarito allure, I think he is talented but he is overrated. He is a puncher with very little defense but loads of heart and toughness. Cotto will beat him if there is a rematch and Mosley can easily make him look silly if he makes it a boxing match.

i think he's overrated too, personally. but a good fighter nonetheless.

i dont think margs can stop shane, if he does, haters will say that shane was shot and like always will not give margarito the credit that he deserves

he will get credit for being the first to ever stop shane, but lets no kid ourselves here, this ain't a prime dogg mosley either. but marg gets credit tho. a W is a W, but this will be a tougher fight than many ppl think. just like pavlik-hopkins, and everyone thought pavlik was going to run over him, and he ended up getting schooled. mosley fights smart, and tries to continually beat margarito to the punch, then get the hell outta dodge, as opposed to trying to "hurt" marg, then mosley has the ability to give marg a boxing lesson.

you underestimate the heart of a true warrior. margaritos chin power and stamina was enough to completely destroy cotto who is on the p4p lists and it was enough to strike fear into the heart of mayweather and many many other welterweights.

he's overrated buddy.....nobody said he wasn't any good, just overrated. fact is, with a good, fast boxer with stamina, and sticks to "boxing" beats margarito every time. good fighter, but can be beaten with the right gameplan.........

great fighters, its hard to necessarily gameplan for them, b/c there is little they do wrong. there's a few weaknesses margarito possesses that a smart fighter can capitalize on.

no they arent.. no one overrates his "boxing" skills...he is what he is. His accomplisments are underrated though. Just look at the top of the WW division.. he is fighting everyone..win or loss. he is good for boxing.

He will, in time that fight will be made. I think people that don't understand that don't understand the business side of boxing.

Marg is getting paid right now and trying to get another shot with Cotto for the same reason.

In time, people and the pay-per-view will demand a rematch with Williams and we will see it.

not every re match happens right away. Look at Dela and Shane. Miranda and AA..three years between the NC n the first fight with Marg and Santos and the 2nd fight in PR.
