Bruce Lee as a boxer, how well would he do?

He was trained in boxing when he was in Hong Kong as a teenager. Bruce Lee even won the 1958 Boxing Championship match against 3-time champion Gary Elms by knockout in the 3rd round. Before arriving to the finals against Elms, Lee had knocked out 3 straight boxers in the first round

And check out his hand speed at 0:07-0:13

Only a boxer can punch like that

He would have been one hell of an offensive machine. If his chin was decent, I think he would have been world class.

He'd get his ass kicked. There's no video of him boxing an elite boxer. So probably his lungs they'd punch in

Yeah Lee's fast, but you gotta remember he weighs like 120lbs. That's equivalent of a healthy chick. He should be fast at that weight...

From what I remember, Lee weighed closer to 140, maybe more.

Bruce Lee vs. Manny Pacquiao for the 140 lb title who takes it?

You have to remember that this guy dedicated his life to the perfection of his art and body. He understood the origin of power complimented with unatural speed. To say he wouldn't have an impact in the sport is pretty persumptious.

                    Agreed.

The man had great athletic ability and fantastic discipline. If he'd wanted to pick up boxing and trained for it, chances are he would've done quite well.

Biggest question mark is how he would hold up in a real fight.
