Diego Corrales vs Julio Cesar Chavez at 135

First of all, Rest In Peace Chico. Corrales vs Castillo I was probably the greatest fight I've ever seen. After watching the fight again I sit here thinking about how that Chico would have fared against a prime Julio Cesar Chavez at lightweight. Corrales would have been considerably larger than Chavez. But Chavez' chin was legendary.

If this fight could have ever taken place, would it surpass the drama of Chico vs JLC I? Who do you think would have taken this lightweight slugfest?

Chavez would have broken Corrales. just a bad matchup. Chavez had a better chin, better defence, and a stronger body attack than Castillo, and would have destroyed that lanky long body of Corrales.

It would look more like the Corrales-Castillo rematch than the 1st fight. but it would go on longer.
