Marquez was willing to fight Pacquiao for free after he lost. Pacuiao-Marquez split was an 80-20 split. If they fight again it would probably be 95-5 in favor of Pacquiao..

60-40 is fair enough. Aside from a match with Floyd, Hatton never had a PPV match in the US. Pac is risking his P4P status here. Hatton will never ever get a crack at the best P4P again. Pacquiao still has a lot of options.

I said in my post earlier that it is 80-20 or 75-35 because I didn't remember. For a 3rd match it should be 95-5 split in favor of Pacquiao. That 5 % is enough for Marquez to earn decent money. He said he'll fight Pacquiao for free. He chose 30k dollars over 800,000 dollars so that's how Marquez worth is.

it could be someone from his camp saying this.. but not pacman..

Shame to see see money stopping fights happening, hurts the sport.
If pac actually said 60 - 40 , which I doubt he did, than it will likely wind up getting closer to even than that as negotiations come to a close. Hatton should be happy with 60-40. It will be a **** ton of money and the opportunity to be closer to the best p4p and well positioned for the next big payday(Mayweather). I could really care less what any of these guys make as long as matchups like these happen. I mean boxers ***** about promoters taking too much money and that is legitimate for guys who arent at the top but the stars make big money in comparison to say MMA top dogs and other premier athletes.

60-40 for Pacquiao and put the fight in Wembley. Everybody wins!

Hatton already gave in to the location of the venue. He and his team wanted it in Wembly, but gave into Arum's demands to have it in Vegas. I dont think it would be fair to Hatton to also give into the 60/40 deal. He's the champ of that division, and Pac is challenging HIM. At the end of the day, a deal with be reached. This fight is to big to let pass up. I think it'll be settled at 55/45 in favor of Pac. That sounds a bit more fair.

You're a moron if you think that Pacquiao himself is dealing with the negotiations for this fight. He has a team of people on the payroll that get paid to do this for him.

Hatton outside Oscar is the biggest draw in the sport, bar nobody! Pacquiao is also the chalenger in the fight.

                      Yeah Manny, you deserve 60-40....:wank:
That's arguable. Ricky's fan base, though loyal, is primarily made up of people from the UK. Pacquiao has a more universal appeal, mostly due to his style.
If anybody deserves 60-40 its Hatton. The casinos are paying so much for this because of the fans Hatton brings over to america to spend cash in there places.

Pound for pound goes out the window with a cashcow. Even Floyd took the shorts against Oscar.
Sorry, but this is the biggest fight possible for both fighters, but I would argue that Manny has the potential for more blockbuster mega fights than Ricky does.
Pacquiao better watch his mouth, Hatton could fight another champion at 140 at wembley in England and still make his money. Hatton dont need Manny to get paid but unless Manny can get Floyd in the ring he simply wont make this kind of money with anyone else out there.
From what I've heard straight out of Ricky's mouth, he's more concerned with fighting Manny to be fighting the best out there, not so much the money. It seems as if you're more concerned about his finances than he is.
If Pacman cuts his nose off to spite his face then the WHOLE of boxing will be laughing at him.
                      Huh?

What the hell does this sentence mean ?
