Roy jones was P4P king of the 90's and not Pernell Whitaker

Lots of people say pernell was P4P, i just cant agree. Roy had speed, good reflexes, good footwork and POWER(something pernell didn't have)

Lets be honest pernell showed a lot of bul**** in his fights. The way he drops his hands and just dodges pucnhes without punching back and then when his opponents get him close to the ropes he just turns his head and runs away. Sorry people thats not how a P4P king fights.

IMO RJJ most impressive period came late in teh decade, some of his work before 97 while flashy lacks substance, Whitaker was good for the ENTIRE decade.

RJJ accomplished more over thier respective careers but the but not in the 90's.

im in denial, i choose rjj cuz i've only seen a couple of fights from pernell(a highilght, which he was very impressive with his dodging and defence, it looked like he could've given oscar a boxing lesson too, but he just dodged and did'nt fight back?), but im just a biased prick when it comes to roy jones
