just watching the atmosphere that fight built up and the hype all exploding in the first round when calzaghe went down, the place went ****ing nuts! yes, jones is past his prime but it was a fight that had to happen. jones - hopkins 2 has to happen too, jones has the handspeed still to trouble hopkins and better reflexes than kelly pavlik. it would be a good fight even now and the hype would be crazy!$

the first 3 rounds of Calzaghe Jones was eletric, one of the best things ive witnessed live. Jones comes out drops calzaghe and looks like hes going to stop him, both trading punches at end of round, round 2 jones moving and pot shotting like he did in his prime, calzaghe landing punches on ropes and round 3 calzaghe gives jones a boxing lesson in the centre of the ring. -
i think Hopkins would make relatively easy work of him now to be honest, fight is a bit redundant
but as a Hopkins fan, i'd be happy enough to see him avenge one of the two actual losses he suffered in his career!Comment

maybe he would but jones isnt gonna be like slow ass pavlik walking towards hopkins, i think jones would try to counter punch hopkins.
