Khan fights in a bigger weight class, but he'd probably be ko'd by Gamboa. Gamboa usually goes down because he is off balance and he has a poor defense not because he is actually hurt.

Something is wrong with Khans chin, and every fight Gamboa has went down.. It looks like nothing to do with his chin because he has never been hurt once going down. More to do with his poor defense and his balance.

If Kahn had a solid chin he would be the best prospect in the sport but as it is i could also see Gamboa by KO

They both have bum chins. I see a Rocky 2 finish in the first round, with both fighters failing to get up after they both land huge punches. The fight will end in a draw. I'm not even sure what the correct procedure is in boxing for both fighters failing to get up for the count. Does it go to the scorecards, or is the fight ruled a draw?

Just to add. Gamboa is walking a thin line. He is 27, and can't take a punch. When he steps his opposition up, he is in danger of getting KTFO. At least Khan has youth to improve his defence, Gamboa don't.

great post I was actually going to make a thread on this but you pretty much summed it up. All of Gamboa's knockdowns have been flash knockdowns and he always bounces right back up like nothing happened. He never seemed dazed or hurt by any of them. Also, it's interesting they always come early in the fight, almost like he needs to adjust to getting hit or something, but more likely it's him being off balance because he tends to come in so wild and open at times.

Khan on the other hand has gotten hurt badly in several occasions, even by weak punchers.
