And secondly, I've already said that I followed Calzaghe back then, so I was aware of what was happening at the time.

Thirdly - name a big fighter that RJJ beat in his prime? Obviously James Toney springs to mind, but go through his resume and nitpick like you seem to to do to Calzaghe's.

Lastly, I never realised how immature people are on this board. Constant name calling, petty insults, childish remarks. I know you can't see the person you're talking to, but this is still the real world. Show some respect you imbeciles.
    Bolded for emphasis.

If you really want to debate James Toney's resume, create a thread. You can't start a thread like this and start whining because (gasp!), people disagree with you.

But then again, you aren't going to create a James Toney thread will you? Because you probably don't know enough. You just know JOE. Unfortunately for you, so do we. And we don't believe your lies and made up assertions. Hell, you don't believe them either.

      Yea, pretty much.

But you don't see my hyping him up as the best fighter either.

So, it is what it is.

He tried, he lost, he failed.

Truth be told, I don't think he'll ever be good anywhere besides welter.

But, at welter, he is a beast.

lol at you thinking it would get a rise out of me.

Roy was actually scared of any fighter from Europe.

Dude wasn't even good enough to ever leave his country as a pro.

How are you going to call yourself a world champion and never fight anywhere else?
Captain Purple logic 101: P4P champ are scared of WBO trinket holders that are fighting the Will Mcintyres of the world.

Logic Part 2: If i say "deal with it" my computer internet machismo will convince everyone I am correct.

        Nerd.

          • My point was go through RJJ's careers besides James Toney. Read it again. And yes I am aware of James Toney and what he's accomplished. I always love it forums when people like yourself automatically assume they know more than everyone else about everything. Go through my threads, find one post where I've said something along the lines of "I know more than you, blah, blah...". Somehow I don't think you'll find one. Shame other people could refrain from using that logic against myself though isn't it?

Haha I love your thinking. I like Joe Calzaghe->Therefore I know nothing about boxing

oh right, he's the p4p number one fighter and he has to go to a ****hole like cardiff to fight some undeafeted prospect, like he has'nt done that before, not to mention go down in weight
if joe really wanted the fight to prove himself, he would've went to roy
like roy says ''Im the man, why should the man have to go to him?, he should come to me''

                  Your 17.

You never seen a Roy Jones fight in his prime.

                  Move on kid.

Hmm, I guess Clinton Woods was from Texas then, right?

                      Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Ok, go ahead. Nitpick James Toney's resume and then, based on your conclusion, tell us where you think he ranks historically. Start a new thread if you want. I'll post.
