Will this be a key deciding factor to why Pacquiao beats Hatton on May 2nd?

How many decent southpaws has Hatton faced...? Can you see him conquering the difficult style, doing something that De La Hoya was'nt able to do?

nah i think the reason Pac beats Hatton is just that he's in a different class to him to be honest

it could be a reason why he gives Mayweather difficulties though

He's faster. I think his speed will be the decidin factor.

        I agree with S.G.

If we're to go on how Ricky has fared against southpaw's in the past, it's not an ideal situation for Hatton, but there are more factors to consider. Hatton doesn't hold many advantages, and they are mainly minor physical ones. It's Pacquiao who has many more, but regardless, this is a great match-up and should create fireworks.

I think it's certainly the factor that makes me pick Pacman, it's the one question that I think Ricky has never answered with any conviction.

I think that Ricky wins if one of two things happens

            1. Pacman really can't handle the higher weight and ODLH was really just ODLH being totally ****ed by the weight.

            2. Floyd Snr can teach hatton how to beat Southpaws in 12 weeks

I don't think either are totally true so i think Pacman gets a UD.

This what i think will win him the fight... The speed will always be there, but the southpaw style will pose a bigger threat to Hatton. He wont be able to 'rough' Pacquiao up like he does with other fighters, he'll get countered much easier.

Your talking about a win that happened years ago... times have changed.

Hatton has a very low KO percentage (17%) over southpaws.

Speed will be the deciding factor in this fight, the southpaw style will maybe give Hatton some trouble but it's Pacquiao's speed that will win him this fight.
