Berto Wants Manny Pacquiao, Winner Gets Margarito

Berto would beat the hell out of Margarito!! I dont know why ppl think that Pacquaio is gonna retire this year. Pacquaio is gonna fight another 3 years. he'll probably fight Hatton, then Mayweather, then who knows a rematch with Mayweather, then Marquez a 3rd time. I mean Pacquaio is trying to beat top 10 ever!!!!!

I smell another fighter of the year award for Pacquiao and more Mayweather fans bitching.

Except this time they'll have nothing to hide behind. A win over Hatton makes Pacquiao the only 4 division lineal champion in history, and a belt in a fifth weight division. A fight with Berto which is a very winnable fight for Pac would make it a belt in Pacquiao's 6th weight division. That's right kids....more than Mayweather. Then a fight with Margarito win or lose for Pacquiao further ****s on Floyd just based on the fact that he's doing it at all. Should Pacquiao do the impossible yet again and win. It would make him the undisputed welterweight champ which Floyd never was and almost certainly a ring belt in his 5th weight division and proves without a shadow of a doubt that Pacquiao is 1 of the top 5 greatest boxers to ever live.

It's nice dreaming but the ring belt in welter is vacant. He can only win it by beating Margarito IF he landed rank #2 or #3 after beating berto and that's still far down the road in the list hahaha.

Considerall the factors that would have to materialize for a Pacquiao-Margarito fight to happen at all. Pacquiao would have to beat Hatton AND Berto to even seriously consider a Margarito fight. Margarito would have to beat Mosley AND Cotto.

It would be difficult for Pacquiao to not be ranked 2nd at WW if he held a belt and Margarito wins his fights.

It would also be completely against logic if the winner of a unification bout between the #1 and 2 welters to not be awarded the ring belt. Especially if the winner also happened to be the #1 p4p fighter in the world.

I know he wants a payday but this is what pisses me off about fighters. I like Berto and he is skilled enough to have a chance to beat anyone but you don't go out calling everyone. No where in the world do you just become the top dog and especially not in boxing. You have to earn that spot and Berto has not. The kid has yet to face a top 25 welter and now he wants a piece of the top fighter in the sport, thats not how it works. Worry about Collazo and beat a top 5 welter and then we can talk.

More like hes willing to fight the top GUY. Berto hasn't said hes willing to fight Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, or Williams. Bertos my boy but he needs to do more in the sport before he spouts off at the mouth like this.
