I agree with you. Next time (if there is a next time) Hopkins will win. Guaranteed.

Fighting Taylor again is a waste of time.

Hopkin's said he would like to fight Joe Calzaghe in a rematch, but if that doesnt happen...Jermain Taylor possibly. After Hopkins upset over current Middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik in a 170lb catch weight contest where Hopkins "turned back the clock" and "schooled" Pavlik and once again proved his status as an elite boxer and could bounce back from anything, Do you think Hopkins vs Taylor III would be the fight of the year for 09 (If) it were to happen? and who would you pick to win this time? could the decirated superstar B-hop "turn the clock back" once again over Taylor? or can a revived and determined Jermain Taylor do what hes used to doing, and pick up the Win for the third time? (B-hop 49-5-32Ko's vs Taylor 28-2-17Ko's)
JT vs Boring-Hop III would be punishment for fight fans to watch.
it would be like watching Holyfield vs Ruiz IV

What advantages does a 170 lb Hopkins have over Taylor at 44 that he didn't have at 160 at age 40?

I don't understand how people view this fight as being much different from the first two. Sure Hopkins might win, but it will be by SD or close UD. Either way it's still a competitive fight.

Taylor gains just as much upside from the higher weight as Hopkins...

I don't think it'll happen, there's not much interest from the public for a third fight, their first two fights weren't exacytly barnburners, I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back at cruiserweight to fight Adamek.

But if I said Calzaghe you would be all over me. You yourself have said plently of times "Why does Dawson only want to fight fighters above 40?"

I agree and if I'm Dibella, I don't accept the fight anyway. The last thing I need for my best fighter is to have another loss at this point of his career.

Oh and Bhop beat Taylor the second time around. I have no idea why people say he won the first, but lost the second. It's clearly the other way around.

b-hope would win above 170+ too much weight advantage and craftyness.

i maintain my opinion taylor beat a weight drained hopkins.
