This fight is really hard to figure... because a) you don't know how good Manny can really defend if someone gets close to him b) can Ricky move inside or can Manny stop that...

it's really hard... Hatton has to come with another gameplan. He has to come inside what worked with Malignaggi won't work with Pacquiao. The first round if you can remember Malignaggi was pretty good but he couldn't hurt him. If he fights that way Pacquiao will hurt him. If he comes close it's also dangerous because Manny is pound for pound one of the best short power punchers. So Hatton has a chance but I would have to go with Pac cause he takes instructions well and Hatton has too many weak points. Pac has some too and could get exploited but not with the skill set Hatton has. Hatton has very underrated foot speed if coming forward but Pacquiao is also very quick. I think it won't be enough for Hatton

Hatton will have no answer to Pacs speed and movement. He will get KTFO yet again. Actually if think about it. Hatton is just a warm up for the REAL challenge, Mayweather vs Pac.

it would be ****** though if pac overlooks hatton. hatton would be more competetive than dlh. plus floyd senior probably has a game plan to neutralize pac's speed advantage

Has Pac ever over looked anyone? He ALWAYS comes 100%. Not only that I bet DLH was more of a challeange than Hatton's last fight... well IMO

I would be surprise if Hatton ever wins this fight, He has and alway have problems with southpaw from his amateur days and it didnt help that he was stared clear off southpaw fighters in his career by warren.

He would close the gap on pacman for sure because of his footspeed but i dont think he would beat pacman to the punch when he does close pacman down.

Pacquiao WILL be faster and stronger at 140.

Just based off Hatton's last 3 performances, i can't see how people really think he's going to beat Pacquiao. He can't handle speed, he gets over anxious and against Pacquiao who's going to be circling around him and throwing shots from all sorts of angles he's going to revert back to his brawling style which is open season for Pacquiao.

                  Hatton will be outclassed

Hatton cant handle speed? Get outta here. He has always fought fast guys and prevailed until Mayweather. You cannot say a guy who beat Kostya Tszyu and went probably 12-1 againsy fast handed guys cannot handle speed. I'm going to love when Ricky suprises the hell out of yall naysayers. I'm glad you are fooled by a decisive win over a faded ODLH.

You mean the Kosta Tszu that was one foot in the door to retirement? Cool...

Pacquiao is a completely different fighter than Floyd and his game plan will be different. He won't be able to maul Pacquiao...**** he couldn't even do that against Malignaggi! Hatton still lunges in leaving his hands down. He did that against Malignaggi as well and at times Pauli caught him with a few counter punches that threw Hatton off balance temporarily with obvious little effect.

Hatton will make a fight out of it, but as usual will get frustrated when he can't find any openings and thus going back to his brawling style.
