He'll fight 1 or 2 top 10 contenders, then rematch Wlad, or go for Vitali.

Wouldnt surprise me if he did retire, he's made a lot of money through boxing and modelling, plus he has his promotional company now. He'll be in the boxing ring one way or another.

I dont see him drawn towards the sport particularly though, he's after money, not a legacy. No late 30's comebacks (unless he goes broke), no amassing 50+ fights etc.

nah, i think he has a genuine pride in his boxing skills and regards becoming heavweight champion as his Everest

i think it's unfair to say his only motives are money and fame

That would be unfair, true, but he's publicly stated that he wants to be out of the sport by the time he's 31, so he's willingly cutting off his career early, and trying to set up pay-day fights before then.

Or even drop back down to cruiserweight?

What do you think... I reckon he'll go after a rematch and if he fails to get one, he'll quit for a few years
              Conclusively or convincingly?

If he doesnt get ko'd and is competitive, i think he gets back in the mix and works his way up....

If he gets K'd early, i think he bounces out of boxing and works as a chippendale dancer

I think he'd retire unfortunately. He's said as much really so.

Great shame but I am starting to see some kinda logic in there. He's by no means a journey man, he wants to get in there and perform and get out. That's been his whole career and he's done ok so far out of it.

To be this age and one of the top HW contendors and an undisputed CW champ is impressive. He just wants his shot and if he can't pull it off I'm not sure his pride would recover enough even for a rematch. I would hope he'd see sense that he'd still have a big shot however, literally.

in a fashion that leaves no doubt in anyone's mind that Wlad is the better fighter

He would be defeated by the four best cruiserweights: Alexeev, Cunningham, Jones, and Adamek.

If that were to happen there would probably be a rematch

Im sure Wlad will get that in the contract. Just incase the worst happens for him
