Juan Manuel Marquez is underestimating Juan Diaz

I don't know about you guys, but it feels like Marquez is underestimating Juan Diaz. Diaz has been one of the best lightweights for a few years now and for Marquez to still be talking so much about Pacman, I think he's taking him lightly. I think Diaz is a very very good fighter and I think he's going to give Marquez real problems. If it wasn't for that cut that Campbell gave him, most likely he'd still be undefeated too. Also I don't think people realize how young Diaz is (25). He's probably not even reached full potential. What do you guys think?

I agree to an extent. He has not reached his full potential yet thats for sure, but i still think he loses to Campbell even without the cut. Campbell ****** his body all the way through that fight and Diaz visibly slowed down, because of the body attacks.

I like Diaz and i think if he brings it to JMM he has a good chance of winning, but if he tries to box a bit more the way he did against Kats he will lose imo. JMM probably is underestimating him, but that is good for Juan.

You act like a fighter has never looked past anyone. Oscar looked past Felix Sturm. Judah looked past Baldomir. Marquez has been talking all Pacquiao since he lost, he's obsessed. I'm not saying he's not taking the fight seriously, I'm just saying that I think that Marquez probably thinks he'll win easy and set up a trilogy with pacman.

He may beat Diaz, but dont underestimate Diaz he has beaten a tough hard puncher in Acelino Freitas and beaten Katsidis who is a tough SOB too.

Diaz has quick hands and throws combinations he will give JMM a working over if JMM takes him too lightly.

Freitas has wins over Casamayor and he is not a C Class fighter by any stetch.
