Anyone who discredits Froch should do the same with Haye. They are the same mad talking machine and they will both probably pay for it. Calzaghe-Froch would be a huge fight in London and if he keeps this up he may get the fight after all. I would love for it to happen except I don't want to see Froch get pimped out like that. This being said: Froch needs another high profile fight before spouting off like this all the time. Sure he proved he IS the real GOODS, but that don't mean he is a world beater yet.

So? While there are other ways to defend Calzaghe's choice of opponents if you are so inclined to do so, I don't believe this is one of them.

I think regardless of age, you should fight the best in your divisions. If you're too old to compete against the best, you shouldn't call yourself one of the world's best anymore.

Go on the Hector Camacho Sr. circuit, fighting other senior citizens but don't bill your fights as summit meetings.

In one of Carl's last interviews he said he was mainly calling Joe out when Calzaghe had the WBC belt, now he's got it he's not that bothered about Calzaghe and doesn't think he'd get him.

That he has bigger fights (lol) than Calzaghe, like with Taylor or Pavlik. So then why based on that all this? Guy contradicts himself a fair amount himself and isn't in sync at all.

What's happened to these other fights Carl, why wouldn't you take the time to talk up a potential bout with one of them and instead Calzaghe when you said you've got his old belt and ain't that bothered anymore? Not a good sign for those fights afterall, they can't be as big or likely as you made out then?

In my opinion, the win over Pascal is more impressive than the wins over Macca, Mormeck and Barrett combined. Haye has had very few title fights so far and the competition was lack luster at best.

With all do respect to you, I hardly think saying that Wlad is a discrace to heavyweight boxing, posting his head in his hand in a magazine and proclaiming that he will defeat either brother is not demanding and disrespectful. Froch just knows what it will take to have a shot at Calzaghe and he is using that angle. David Haye has done the exact same thing and they may very well get the fights they want. I'm just saying that if you like one's tactics, you have to like the others. Theres no in between.
