    James Toney vs Eddie Chambers

As an Eddie Chambers fan I would love to see this matchup. Right now Chambers is ranked #5 by the IBF so he's in the mix for a title shot.

Some people say Chambers is a natural cruiserweight, but he's fighting at heavyweight and there is nothing we can do about it, might as well support his decision. I think Chambers would win comfortably against Toney. Toney at his age has problems against fighters with a good jab. Toney had problems with Oquendo's jab, just imagine what Chamber's jab would do.

True, but Chambers showed in the Povetkin fight that his punch count lowers with pressure. Toney is my dude, but he's all but done. His punching power has gotten better, but his punch count and movement steadily dropped as the fight (against Oqueno) went on. In a battle of the fat heavyweights, whoever wins would be by a close decision.

Toney is done. Chambers would win handily IMO. James is 40 and doesn't have the motivation to be in the shape necessary to beat a legitimate HW contender anymore.

If Toney couldn't deal with Oquendo, he wouldn't be able to deal with Chambers, few years ago, it would have definitely been a Toney win but now it's a Toney loss.
