    Why?

Considering that he is the only fighter to remotely challange Pacman within the last 4 years I think he has more than proven that he is worthy. Seriously why do you think he has to unify anything? He is the recognized champ at Lightweight, and PFP #2 in the world so I really don't make any sense of your post or how you can think for one second that JMM still has to prove himself this late in his career??????

Pac's fight against these fighters don't count because in:

Pac-JMM 1 - JMM came back after 3 KDs, showed a lot of heart and determination
Pac-JMM 2 - JMM got KD but that doesn't count because the light was on his eye
Pac-EM 1 - This counts since EM won
Pac-EM 2 - Doesn't count coz EM is 30 years old and is past his prime and stopped by ref after only 2 KDs
Pac-EM 3 - Doesn't count coz EM is 30 years old and is past his prime and quit after 3 KDs. EM went to fight David Diaz and lost
Pac-MAB 1 - Doesn't count coz MAB is 29 years old and is past his prime and his cornet quit for him
Pac-MAB 2 - Doesn't count coz MAB is 32 years old and is past his prime, though still currently an active fighter
Pac-David Diaz - Doesn't count coz Diaz is C-level fighter and his belt doesn't count
Pac-DLH - Doesn't count coz DLH is 35 years old and is past his prime

All Pac losses counts coz he has no skills other than punching hard lefts. All other Pac wins doesn't count coz opponents have skinny legs. Cheers!

considering pac started boxing at 16 and is now coming to his prime at 30, how can you say em and mb were past their prime at 29 -3o. real experts no the deal know one believes a biased hate filled fan. i know it must hurt that one filipino can beat so many mexicans, your machismo must be hurt. ha ha imagine 2 filipinos we can conquer mexico.

            Grumblings

I just think there are more than enough grumblings about the outcomes of both JMM/Pac fights to warrant a trilogy. The first fight though, wasn't even close, looking the way Pac got treated after rd 1.

True, althought I scored the second fight for JMM, it could've gone either way. Roach himself said it but that might be that was his unspoken concession that maybe he thought Manny didn't really win. Boxing is probably the most subjective sport out there. That's what makes it the most interesting and the most difficult to like at times.

Pac can sleep on the trilogy but I'd like to see it sooner than later. Economically, the third fight also makes sense from a fan's perspective as I'm sure it'll sell like hotcakes. Marquez can and probably will clean out the lightweight division. He's done more than enough to warrant the third fight without doing so. I don't blame Pacquiao for not taking the third fight, he has other avenues after the DLH fight. He has a chance of cleaning out some big names: Hatton, Floyd, Berto, etc., though I don't think he has a chance against Margarito. So, I'm in agreement that a third fight JMM is attractive to fans but in the end, it's Pac's choice.
