This thread isn't about Calzaghe, though I'm guessing you can't post without mentioning him. Joe landed more punches on Hopkins than any opponent since Roy Jones. And yes, I (and most everyone else) had Joe winning a close decision. Bernard simply didn't do enough the last two thirds of the fight.

i missed the early rounds both live and todays repeat so i dunno if dawson was in it....but as far as the later rounds he was basically in survival mode throwing soft punches....johnson rocked him hard in round 10 it should have been a 10-8 round....after watching again dawson would get tired against calzaghe, johnson has the real style to give him trouble esp. with his power right hand
