Very well articulated. No he isn't even the world champion at the moment, he is the best heavyweight but there is a difference. Shannon Briggs was a lineal champion, so was Buster Douglas. Hell Pinklon Thomas was the best heavyweight in the world between the Holmes and Tyson era, but that doesn't make hi an All Time Great. Until Wladimir wins the real heavyweight title and dominates the best out there like his brother, Chagaev, Povetkin, Dimitrenko, and Haye (which he can do) he won't be an All Time Great. He is the best of his era, so what. And the MMA comment, pathetic, it really was. Boxing is my passion, but that doesn't mean I can't like MMA too.

I dont think wangling a shot against the top 2 HW's after such few fights would put David under the title of 'moron'.

You could make a case for the bolded being based on hackneyed preconceptions of what constitutes interest or personality anymore, though. Some would argue that the Klitschkos are more enigmatic, or 'deeper', people...and that Haye's brand of 'bringing the noise' is passé, faux attitudinal.

Although I find David a convivial, engaging and insightful interviewee when in a candid chat situation, out of hype mode.

You would have to be one weird individual to regard anything about the klits engaging or interesting.

I think people mistake them as deep based on the fact they dont know enough english to say anything remotely interesting.

They only ever manage to squeeze out corkers like "it will be .. good fight, many people will watch and it will be good fight for both fighter".
