Jerson Ravelo. Olympic gold medalist. Was supposed to be really promising but never broke through to championship contender level.

Actually, he was eliminated in the first round at the Olympics.

Ravelo's problem has been injuries and inactivity. He wants to get back in the ring and as a result continues to break his hand every time he fights, it seems. He's a good fighter but his back and hand injuries have severely hampered him.

Ike, Clifford, and Joel are all in prison. Joel Scott was suppose to be a big heavyweight prospect with a good amatuer background but flopped and ended up being convicted of rapping and murdering an elderly homeless bag lady while he was high on drugs.

You can add Rydell Booker to that list as well. I boxrec'd James Toney and then him, and it said he's doing a jail sentence for selling *******....

What ever happened to featherweight Jose Andres Hernandez? If you remember, this guy pulled off the mini upset of hyped fighter Jason Litzau in late 2006. He went on to fight Rocky Juarez in a losing but spirited bid for the IBF featherweight title in May of 07. He hasn’t been seen since….
